In response to this overblocking, All six Kentucky congressmen (Geoff Davis, Harold Rogers, Ben Chandler, John Yarmuth, Ed Whitfield, and Brett Guthrie) submitted a letter to Sec. Geithner asking him to approve the PPA Petition for Rulemaking.
Now isn't this ironic news. This horse racing industry is the same one that persuaded the KY governor to try to seize domain names of online gambling companies. Then, the horse racing industry discovers that ironically the UIGEA may hurt them more than online gambling companies because the foreign online gambling companies can get around the coding system, but they cannot because they are US companies. So now they are against the UIGEA.
They were all for it when they got a specific exemption, but now the discovered the unforeseen spectra of overblocking.
